When considering my passion, my art, I am reminded of Merton's statement, "Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time". When I sit at my easel, I am most truly myself. Many thanks ...I did this in several layers..blocked in major areas then went back in with more details..I generally work in the Flemish style..7 layers..so this was a bit of a hybrid..a little layering, a bit of wet in wet towards the finish!! To be honest I have such a variety of brushes I couldn't tell you which I used when!
