This is a loose watercolor of two ducks in flight after original photo by Steve Gibbs. I was drawn to the photo by the sense of movement and freedom, as well as the joy of togetherness in flight.
When considering my passion, my art, I am reminded of Merton's statement, "Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time". When I sit at my easel, I am most truly myself.
