This oil painting was accomplished with the Flemish Method of the old masters. Imagine strolling along a quiet country road and happening upon this magnificent scene! Tally ho!

When considering my passion, my art, I am reminded of Merton's statement, "Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time". When I sit at my easel, I am most truly myself.
