This ia an abstract painting of a sunflower inspired by the work of Van Gogh. It was a joy to paint and is vibrant, sunny and bold!

When considering my passion, my art, I am reminded of Merton's statement, "Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time". When I sit at my easel, I am most truly myself.
